SOAR Sports is a ministry of Christ Covenant Church offering Youth Sports, Adult Sports, Camps, and Community Events. Everything we do will be geared towards impacting people. Our desire is to be a positive influence in our community, the surrounding communities, and throughout the country.
Although SOAR is a ministry of Christ Covenant Church, it is not a church league. It doesn't matter what church you go to or if you go to church at all. However, we will not apologize for what we believe. We believe The Bible to be the Word of God and that there is no other name but Jesus Christ by which all people can receive eternal salvation. We are a Christian based sports ministry and The Gospel will be shared; however, we will never force our beliefs on anyone. We will simply share the love of Christ. The philosophy of SOAR comes from 1 Timothy 4:8.
The philosophy of our youth leagues comes from 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. We understand that in youth sports there is a wide range of talent. Our focus will be to help the less talented players discover and develop their ability while also helping the more talented players refine and strengthen their ability.
In SOAR, every child matters!
There is a "right" way to compete and a "wrong" way to compete. We will provide avenues of healthy competition which will allow players, youth and adult, to express their competitive abilities. We will also provide avenues which will allow players to experience winning and losing in a healthy environment.
