Can I be a Head Coach?
If you can answer yes to all of the following, then you are qualified to be a Head Coach:
- Are you a born-again believer of Jesus Christ?

- Do you have a testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ?

- Are you active in an evangelical church?

- Do you believe that you are only saved through Jesus Christ?

- Do you believe that The Bible is the Word of God?
- Are you willing to cooperate with church leadership?

- Are you willing to adhere to our philosophy of ministry?

- Are you willing to submit to SOAR leadership?

- Are you willing to carry out the vision of SOAR?
- Can you commit to the Coaches Summit & Season Kickoff?
- Can you commit to at least one hour and thirty minutes, once per week for practice?
- Can you commit to at least one hour and thirty minutes, once per week (Fri or Sat) for a game?
- Can you commit to coordinating, and being at, an end of the season team party?
- Can you teach basic skills of the sport for which you would be coaching?

- Are you willing to continually improve as a coach?

- Are you willing to accept instructions, correction, criticism, and discipline (when needed)?
* Head Coaches pay $90 for any child they are coaching. If their children are playing in divisions separate from where they will be coaching, they will pay $90 for one of their children.
Can I be an Assistant Coach?
If you would rather be an assistant coach and/or you were unable to answer yes to the questions above:
- Can you commit to being at a majority of the practices and games?
- Can you commit to support the head coach in managing the team?
- Are you willing to cooperate with church leadership?

- Are you willing to adhere to our philosophy of ministry?

- Are you willing to submit to SOAR leadership?

- Are you willing to carry out the vision of SOAR?
- Are you willing to fill in for the head coach when needed?
- Are you willing to continually improve as a coach?
- Are you willing to accept instructions, correction, criticism, and discipline (when needed)?
* Assistant Coaches pay $110 for any child they are coaching. If their children are playing in divisions separate from where they will be coaching, they will pay $110 for one of their children.
* Discounts cannot be combined. Children receiving coach's discounts cannot be included in any other discount.
