Division For Registration
Parents may place a player in a different division than the listed grade groupings with permission of the SOAR office. Please call Mike Johnson at 704-814-1063 to discuss any variations from listed division assignments. Parents are asked to consider the physical and emotional maturity of their player before choosing the best age division for their child.
It is required that each player be the qualifying age as of October 16.
SOAR will attempt to establish the age divisions as listed, but it is subject to change according to player registration, coach availability and facility schedules.

Please do not call the office to confirm availability as we will not be able to answer your questions, and delaying the registration could keep your player from being on a team. All carpool considerations are limited to two families. Any requests involving players from more than two families will not be met.

$60 $115: I would like to sponsor a child who would otherwise not be able to play SOAR sports by giving a donation to the Jeff Usher Scholarship fund. ($60 or $115 donation)

Medical Information / Waiver
As parent / guardian of the above player, I certify that he / she is in excellent health and has no physical, mental or emotional problems which are likely to prevent participation in strenuous physical play in the SOAR basketball league. I agree to hold harmless Christ Covenant Church, SOAR, and its agents, employees, counselors, volunteers, and coaches and hereby release them from liability on account of injuries sustained by player while participating in basketball type activities. I give permission for player to be medically treated for illness occurring or injury sustained during such participation, and certify that he / she is covered by medical insurance which will reimburse SOAR for expenses incurred by them, their agents, employees, coaches, counselors, and volunteers on account of medical treatment ordered at their discretion and also to indemnify them for any expenses not reimbursed by such insurance.
