How old do I need to be to start refereeing/umpiring?
- You can start at age 13. We have youth, college students and adults helping us each season.
Is this a paid position?
- For Winter 2011: We will be paying all basketball officials as well as those who keep score. Please contact us if you have specific questions.
Can I receive Volunteer Hours for refereeing/umpiring?
- You sure can! We love our volunteers. Just sign up below.
Is there any training to prepare me? What if I've refereed before?
- There is a mandatory Referee Training before every season that you will be required to come to. This training is required whether this is your first time or you have past experience. This is where you will recieve details about the season, pay info, rules sheet, schedule details and referee instruction.
